They are less than 500 in number and they don't talk to the outsiders. They are extincting over years but still the Sentinel island is home for them.

 

Volcano

Volcano itself is a wonder of nature and if it is in India, that's the biggest wonder. Yes! The only active volcano in the entire southern Asia is in Andaman and Nicobar Island. The name of the volcano is Barren Island, situated 135 Km away from the port Blair.

 

The Jal Hans

No it is not any creature. Jal Hans is India's first amphibious aircraft which was launched in 2013. Jal Hans is an eight seater Cessna with modern navigation features and can travel upto 250 KM in an hour. The incredible animals and creatures

There are 197 different species of coral living under the sea along with in numerous species of fish, octopus and other aquatic creatures. If you are lucky enough, you may get a sight of the angle of the sea. The plumpy, large sea animal called dugong is the state animal of Andaman and Nicobar. They are very gentle and shy in nature and this cute animal is called the angle of the sea. They can be spotted at Ritchie’s Archipelago, North Reef, Little Andaman and parts of Nicobar. Apart from these animals there are coconut crabs(Robber crabs), and they are the largest living arthropod in this world. They live on the and during the night they climb up to the coconut trees and carve a whole to stay inside it.
